Danielle Cox, LCSW-C – Recruiting, New Hire and Eating Disorder Lead 

Danielle Cox is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the State of Maryland and a Maryland board approved Clinical Supervisor. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and Sociology from Towson University in Towson, MD and earned her Master of Social Work degree in Clinical Social Work from Tulane University in New Orleans, LA.

She has worked in a variety of clinical healthcare settings and has experience working with clients with eating disorders, disordered eating, mood and anxiety issues and life transitions. Danielle has training in evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), The Unified Protocol, Mindfulness and Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT).

Danielle works with her clients to learn how to manage mood changes, anxiety and stress during life changes. She is also passionate about supporting clients during the grief process after experiencing loss and helping women during midlife transitions related to changes in roles, demands of parenting and caring for aging parents. Most recently, Danielle was the Site Director of the Renfrew Center in Bethesda, MD and treated girls and women with eating disorders. Danielle provides a collaborative, interactive and relational approach to therapy for adults. Her focus at Gladstone is working with adult clients to help them identify and process difficult emotions while ensuring that they feel supported along the way. Her goal is to make therapy a helpful and positive experience for everyone.
