Jennifer Cary, MS, LCPC – Training Lead

Jennifer Cary is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in Maryland, Virginia, and DC. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the College of Notre Dame of Maryland (now Notre Dame of Maryland University), her Masters of Science and Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies in Clinical Community Counseling from Johns Hopkins University, and is currently working on completing the requirements for a Psy.D. from California Southern University.

Jenn has worked in various clinical settings and has taught undergraduate psychology. She has experience working with addictions, trauma, mood disorders, and life transition issues. She utilizes REBT, CBT, mindfulness, MI, and strengths-based approaches to help patients learn to leverage their own personal strengths to gain mastery in their own lives. She also believes that self care and humor are important parts of the healing process. Seeking help for mental and behavioral health takes courage, but the path to wellness doesn’t need to be walked alone.

“It’s when we start working together that the real healing takes place.” —David Hume
