Hey, I’m James. I was born in Maryland, but I’ve also lived further north and down south. I received my Bachelor’s in Psychology from Dartmouth College and my Master’s in Mental Health Counseling from the University of Massachusetts. I built up my skills working in various inpatient and outpatient programs, where I worked with adults and adolescents from all walks of life, facing all sorts of issues: addiction, trauma, mood disorders, etc.
Our modern world places a lot of stress on folks dealing with depression and anxiety, not to mention marginalized and neurodivergent populations. I strive to provide clients with a nonjudgmental space where they can figure out who they are, who they want to be, and how to navigate between the two.
In my free time I like to write, play roleplaying games, and talk to my cats.
