Genetic Testing with GeneSight at Gladstone

That’s why we offer GeneSight Psychotropic, a genetic test designed to help your healthcare provider determine how your unique genetic makeup may affect your response to psychiatric medications. What is the GeneSight Test?

GeneSight is a pharmacogenomic test, meaning it analyzes specific genetic variations that can impact how your body processes or responds to medications commonly prescribed for depression, anxiety, ADHD and other psychiatric conditions. With a simple cheek swab, the test provides valuable insights that may help your provider make more informed medication decisions, potentially reducing trial-and-error prescribing.

Who should consider the genetic testing?
