Artie L. Bray, LMSW

Artie was born in Biloxi Mississippi, and largely grew up in Europe as the son of an active duty service member. He earned his BA in Sociology/Anthropology with a minor in Women’s Studies from West Virginia University, before moving to the DC region to work in Queer politics at both the state and national levels. Artie later returned to complete his Masters degree in Social Work from the University of Maryland, Baltimore, where he focused on clinical social work, integrated behavioral health, and addictions.
