Elise El-Nahal, MD

Dr. El-Nahal is a board-certified psychiatrist at Gladstone Psychiatry and Wellness. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology at the College of William and Mary and attended the University of Virginia School of Medicine for her medical degree. She subsequently completed her psychiatric training at the University of Maryland/Sheppard Pratt Psychiatry Residency Program. In 2021-2022, she completed the Baltimore Washington Center for Psychoanalysis’ Psychoanalytic Fellowship Program, a seminar on the foundational understanding of psychoanalytic principles. Dr. El-Nahal takes a holistic approach to medication management treatment with a focus on cognitive, behavioral, and lifestyle changes in addition to medications.
