Adom is originally from Brockton, Massachusetts. A native New Englander, Adom received his Masters of Science in Nursing from the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy & Health Sciences. Prior to transitioning to the role of a psychiatric prescriber Adom spent a decade as a registered nurse and program director for a home health agency servicing elderly and disabled individuals.
Adom has experience in treating a variety of mental health conditions, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, PTSD, schizophrenia, borderline personality disorder, obsessive compulsive disorder, bipolar disorder, and substance use disorder. During treatment, Adom employs a cooperative approach with the client providing a thorough assessment of their mental health and potential treatment options. Adom listens closely to his patients, enabling him to create a personalized plan of care tuned to the specific needs of the individual, fostering a path towards positive mental health outcomes.
