Greg has over 15 years experience specializing in crisis management, substance abuse and addictions, and relationship counseling. Greg has extensive experience in mental health crisis management, grief management, both inpatient and outpatient addiction treatment, and community and residential mental health care. Greg currently provides mental and behavioral health care to adults, families and couples, veterans, first responders, and other clinicians. Greg has experience working with intellectual and developmental disabilities, as well as jail-diversion programs, and court-ordered treatment programs.
Greg’s approach stems strongly from Motivational Interviewing and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. He believes that change for a person comes from within. He practices a person-centered approach that helps people identify goals they want as well as the obstacles both internal and external preventing them from reaching those goals. Working with couples, he helps partners to identify each of their personal relationship goals as part of determining how the couple would like to move forward. His goal is for his clients to learn to set healthy boundaries and be comfortable in their own skin.
