Melanie Haynes is a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 2 decades of experience in human services, including school-based mental health, outpatient therapy, spiritual care, and rehabilitation. Special interests in counseling include anxiety, trauma, grief work, depression, and ADHD. Melanie seeks to create a safe place for healing and self-discovery, while offering evidence based techniques including mindfulness, parent behavior training, and Emotional Freedom Technique. A native of Maryland, she has lived in Pennsylvania and Illinois as well and earned her Master’s Degree in Community Counseling from Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania. She welcomes children, teens, and adults in her practice at Hunt Valley. She enjoys hiking, gardening, concerts, reading, and visiting her children and grandchild who have migrated across the country.
