Danely Johnson

Danely Johnson, LCSW-C, grew up in Maryland. She received her Bachelor of Arts from State University of New York in Binghamton before enlisting in the United States Army. While in the Army she obtained her Masters in Criminal Justice from Boston University. Working in the military provided her the opportunity to work with people from all walks of life. It also inspired her to pursue a career helping others. After the military, Danely pursued her Masters in Social Work at the University of Maryland. She gained valuable experience working in an Infants and Toddlers Program, as well as learning Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) at a Residential Treatment Center for adolescents. Danely has also worked in child welfare providing clinical family assessments. As a therapist, Danely values that her clients are doing the best they can and she strives towards providing support in their emotional growth.
