Mona is a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) dedicated to supporting children, adolescents, adults and families. Growing up in a military family shaped her culturally responsive approach to therapy. She earned her Bachelor of Social Work from UMBC and later earned her MSW from UMB with a focus on clinical behavioral health. During her clinical internship at Sheppard Pratt’s Outpatient Mental Health Clinic, she provided individual and family therapy to a diverse group of clients.
Mona takes a holistic, strengths-based approach to therapy, tailoring her practice to the unique needs of each client and family. Using evidence-based interventions, she integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) with mindfulness practices, emotional regulation techniques, and other strategies to support clients facing behavioral, emotional, and neurodevelopmental challenges, life transitions, and mental health concerns. Mona is committed to creating a space where clients can explore their strengths, develop effective coping strategies, and build resilience in the face of life’s challenges.
