I’m a clinical social worker with experience across a variety of professional settings, including nonprofit organizations, child welfare, and behavioral health. No matter the setting, my passion remains the same: helping people navigate life’s changes and challenges.
I take a strengths-based approach to therapy, meaning I view you as the expert on your own story. Together, we’ll work to identify and build on your inner strengths, developing practical tools and skills to help you feel more confident and equipped to manage whatever life brings your way. As someone who is part of the LGBTQ+ community, I understand the importance of feeling seen and supported in therapy.
In my clinical work, I draw from several therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Psychodynamic Theory, and Mindfulness practices. I tailor our work to what best supports your unique needs and goals.
I’m a proud Maryland native, born in Anne Arundel County, and I’ve lived throughout the state and explored everywhere from Ocean City to Deep Creek! Outside of my work as a therapist, I enjoy traveling, baking, exercising, and spending time with my friends and family.
I earned my Bachelor of Social Work degree from Bowie State University and my Master of Social Work degree from the University of Maryland, Baltimore, where I also completed a sub-specialization in work with children and families.
I look forward to walking alongside you on your journey.
