Nicole Roder, LCSW-C, DBT-LBC

Nicole was born and raised in Maryland and is proud to call this state her home. She is a mother to 4 children, including 3 teenagers, and she strongly believes that all families have the potential to heal and thrive. Nicole practices Dialectical Behavioral Therapy with adults and adolescents. She is a DBT-Linehan Board of Certification Certified Clinician, which means that she has been intensively trained and evaluated by the Linehan Board to provide DBT with a high degree of fidelity to the model as prescribed by the founder, Marsha Linehan. She is trained in DBT, DBT prolonged exposure for PTSD, and DBT with parents, couples and families.

She especially enjoys working with the parents of adolescents in the DBT program, and offers them a compassionate, non-judgmental ear along with coaching in DBT parenting skills to help them reach their family life worth living goals.
