Mandy Smith is native to Maryland and earned her BA in Philosophy from the University of Maryland. Winding her way between work, travel and school, she eventually earned her MA in Psychology Counseling with a focus on how mindfulness and the mind/body connection can enhance all aspects of life. She is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor specializing in substance use disorders, trauma, and ketamine assisted psychotherapy. She is certified in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and has worked in the field of addictions and mental health for over fifteen years.
Over the years, Mandy has served as the Clinical Manager at Contemporary Therapeutic Services. She then worked as the Program Director at two inpatient co-occurring treatment facilities and an Intensive Outpatient Program (Spectrum Health in Sykesville, Second Genesis in Crownsville, and Chase Brexton Health Care, respectively). Currently, she enjoys being on the faculty at Towson University along with collaborating and working with the Gladstone team.
