Hardik Yadav, MD, MPH is a Board Certified Psychiatrist as well as Addiction Medicine Specialist. He also
earned a degree in Masters in Public Health. Dr. Yadav specializes in treating variety of mental illnesses
like Mood disorders, Anxiety disorder, Trauma related disorder, Psychotic disorders etc. He also
provides medication assisted treatment for drug use disorders including alcohol and opioids. He is very
knowledgeable in psychotropic medications and has been doing medication management for mental
illness for over 8 years.
Dr. Yadav is well versed in different cultural backgrounds and understands the barriers and strengths to
treat mental illness in different cultures. He is passionate about providing best interventions that is
tailored to patient’s needs. Dr. Yadav believes that mental health is equally important as physical health
and takes comprehensive approach in formulating treatment plan that focuses on both aspects.
Dr. Yadav believes in self-care as a core component in healing from any trauma and mental health
challenges. He practices self-care in form of playing soccer, cooking, exercising, reading and spending
quality time with family.
