Medication Management in Baltimore, MD
If you’re searching for medication management near you in Baltimore, Gladstone Psychiatry and Wellness offers psychiatric medication management for adults, children, and teens at our Mt. Washington office, with telehealth available if you’d rather meet from home.
Medication management is ongoing care with a prescriber who knows you, not just a prescription. Your provider evaluates your symptoms, recommends medication when it’s appropriate, and adjusts your treatment over time as you learn what’s working and what isn’t.

What to Expect at a Medication Management Visit
Your first visit. Your provider will talk with you about your symptoms, history, current medications, and what you hope to get out of treatment. You’re welcome to bring a list of medications and any questions. Nobody will pressure you into starting a medication.
Follow-up visits. These are shorter and focus on how you’re feeling, how the medication is working, any side effects, and whether adjustments are needed. Many people find that medication works best alongside therapy, and our team can coordinate both.
Testing when it helps. For some patients, genetic testing (GeneSight) can offer additional information when choosing among medications. Your provider can help you decide whether this makes sense for you.
Medication Management for Every Age
We provide medication management for adults as well as for children and adolescents. Our child and adolescent providers work with families so that parents are involved in decisions in a way that fits your teen’s age and needs.
